ShakeStir Partners with the Manhattan Cocktail Classic

by ShakeStir Staff

As we all know, a successful brand activation begins with having great talent behind the stick. ShakeStir is now partnering with the Manhattan Cocktail Classic, taking place May 17-21, 2013, to help participating brands staff their events and activations with top-tier bartenders from around the globe. Festival sponsors have free access to ShakeStir’s community of talented bartenders who are interested and available to work at this year’s Classic (in both paid and volunteer capacities.)

If you are a bartender eager to get involved, here’s how: festival sponsors use ShakeStir to source bartending talent to support their events and activations -- from the (in)famous opening night Gala at The New York Public Library, to the myriad spirited soirees, titillating tastings, and educational events taking place all across New York City, to the more professionally-oriented seminars, samplings, and networking events at the Industry Invitational. Just set up your ShakeStir profile if you haven't done so already, go to the Opportunities page and let folks know when you're available for hire.

And of course, if you're not too busy working at the events, we wholeheartedly encourage you to check out the Invitational as an attendee – we’ll open the application process in March. (But fear not: the mere fact that you're on ShakeStir ensures that your application will be approved!)

About ShakeStir.com: ShakeStir is the world's premiere online community for bartenders and spirits industry professionals. In addition to jobs, competitions, events, and thousands of career profiles of the best talent around the world, ShakeStir also just announced 'BarX' -- a first of its kind bartender exchange platform wherein bartenders can swap jobs with other bartenders across the planet.

About the Manhattan Cocktail Classic: Part festival, part fête, part conference, part cocktail party – the Manhattan Cocktail Classic is an annual celebration of the myriad points of intersection between cocktails and culture. With nearly one hundred events spread across five days and four boroughs, and a multi-day trade conference to boot -- the Classic offers a wealth of opportunities for talented bartenders to showcase their prowess behind the stick to a captive audience of world-class beverage brands, ambassadors, industry innovators, cocktail enthusiasts, and media. Tickets will go on sale March 15 at noon EST.  For additional information, please visit www.manhattancocktailclassic.com.
