Inspiration: I love the old school whisky sours on a hot summery day, and wanted to incorporate some flavors found in outdoor barbeques. The Scotch adds a slight smokey element, white the Amaro, fig, and clove garnish accent the robust flavors from bbq meats.

Ingredients

Method

In a shaker tin, dry shake the egg white until frothy peaks form. Set aside. In a mixing glass, combine Monkey Shoulder Scotch, Amaro Montenegro, fig jam, and lemon juice. Stir until jam breaks down and is blended. Add ice to shaker tin with egg white and incorporate blended ingredients from mixing glass. Hard shake until cold and double strain into a chilled coupe glass. Take clove head garnishes and rub around the rim, then drop on top of cocktail's head. Serve!
